Ester Krumbachová (1923-1996) was a Czech screenwriter, director and costume designer. Often called the muse of Czechoslovak film, she is mostly known for her contribution to the New Wave of film in the 1960s. She worked closely with Jan Němec and Věra Chytilová, co-creating such movies as “Diamonds of the Night” (1964), “Daisies” (1966) and “A Report on the Party and Guests” (1965).
