A young transgender girl dreams of becoming a model, and through popularity in social media resists the loneliness that takes her over. During the trip to her birthplace, she understands what is her true desire.

Olena Siyatovska is an artist and an emerging director. She studied at the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University (Ukraine) and University of Fine Arts in Poznan (Poland). Her work focuses on social relations, human rights, and identity in the digital dimension. “I Am Michelle” is her directing debut, supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in 2020 and the British Council Ukraine in 2021.
