Boris Petkovič (1971) graduated from film direction at the Paris film school EICAR, where he also taught for the following three years. In 2008, he came to Ljubljana where he works as a freelance film director. Petkovič’s filmography from 2010 includes four feature films: “LGBT_SLO_1984” (2022, documentary), the national box-office hit “Let Him Be a Basketball Player” (2017, fiction), “Balkan Whispers” (2017, documentary) and “The Beat of Love” (2015, fiction).
