Repetitive still standing movement, an exploration of the visual image for its own sake. From the simple act of drawing a line to the intricate movement and complex structure of animation that is able to self-generate.

Réka Bucsi (1988) is a young Hungarian illustrator and filmmaker whose great talent holds huge promise. After attending MOME Budapest, her graduation film “Symphony no. 42” was nominated for an Oscar and shortlisted at the Sundance film festival. Her experimental, surreal style often draws upon nature and animals as its subjects, with work that has the potential to convey complex messages through distinct and delightful imagery.
